Year 1 Trip
We had an amazing trip to the gardens and museum on Monday even the weather played its part and we were able to have our picnic.
First we visited the Discovery Centre in the museum, where we had time to explore and discover different bugs and their habitats. They even had real tarantulas! Don't worry they were well displayed behind glass. Phew ... got my heart racing!

Then it was lunch time.

| First we shredded newspaper , then soaked it and mooshed it in water. |
 |
| The paper was put inside our bottles which had been wrapped in newspaper to protect the worms from bright light. We added 5 worms and some soil. In the top we put some soil and grass seed. We hope that our bottles will grow 'grass hair'. We will keep watch over them next week then they will come home. |
