We have been learning about non standard ways of measuring.

Here are some of the photos from our activities.

The Snake Cake

This week our enlarged text was called The Snake Cake.

It was about a Queen who wanted a 'different' cake for her birthday. The Queen told the villagers that if they made her a different cake she would invite them to her palace for a party. They all tried making special cakes for her.

In the end the school children made her a 'Snake Cake'. It was 'different'. 

On Friday, we made a snake cake. It was so much fun...and delicious!
