Measurement
Yesterday we did a challenge to see who could make the longest chain.
This activity involved working with a buddy. They both had a responsibility. After discussing their ideas on how to make the LONGEST chain, one person cut and the other stapled the loops together. After 20 mins everyone stopped. We took the chains outside to work out which one was the longest.

We decided that we should line the chains up along the yellow line so that we could compare the chains fairly.
Such a range in lengths.
We discovered the best way to create a long chain was by cutting the paper in thin strips across the longest part of the paper.

Adjective Surprises
Thank you so much for the help you gave the children when completing their home activity.
We had so much fun guessing the items.
What great practice using adjectives.
Some of the items

  • made us...think
  • made us...smile
  • made us...laugh
  • confused us
Finns - certainly made us laugh

WE ARE ON OUR WAY TO BEING ADJECTIVE EXPERTS!

Spring Walk
How good was it yesterday when the weather finally warmed up just as we left the school to go on our Spring Walk?

We observed the beautiful blossom trees and daffodils in the University.

I will type up some of the stories which were written after our walk. So many wonderful adjectives.
