Jack Frost visited today...

Brr it was very cold this morning. The grass was white and crunchy. We ventured out on a frost hunt.
Here are some photos from our time exploring the frost.
The grass was crunchy to touch...and very, very cold.

We could see our footprints and our breath.

Kabir wondered what would happen if
we took some leaves inside.
So we did.
Guess what happened?
The leaves melted and were wet and
brown.

Icy crystals of frost

We used our senses to look at the frost (it was white and shiny), feel the frost ( icy and cold), hear the frost (crunching grass), and even taste the frost (some children licked the leaves).
